Best Ebook Subscription and Audiobook Services (2023)

While an ebook subscription might sound ideal, you should take some time to consider the pros and cons of each one. These digital reading services are often billed as the equivalent of Netflix or Spotify for books, and there are similarities, but ebook subscriptions also have some unexpected restrictions.

Content: All ebook subscription services offer limited libraries of ebooks. (This is where the Netflix comparison is useful.) They may boast more than a million titles, but that total doesn’t necessarily include any works by your favorite authors; none of the services we tested had a single title by Cormac McCarthy, for example, though some had audiobooks of his works.

The big five publishers (Penguin Random House, Hachette, Macmillan, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster) dominate the bestseller charts in the US but have had limited dealings with ebook subscription services so far. Current best-seller lists are not well represented, and the modest list of mainstream hits that appears mostly comprises older titles. Whatever service you are considering, we advise browsing the available library of ebooks and audiobooks before you commit.

Reading Habits: If you only read one or two books a month, you might be better off buying popular titles, recommendations from trusted friends, or works by your favorite authors. That way, you get to choose the best ebooks and keep them. With ebook subscriptions, you lose access the moment you stop subscribing, and the library of available books can change at any time without notice.

Voracious readers who are happy to try new and unfamiliar authors will likely get the most value from ebook subscriptions. But while these services are typically described as unlimited, they often do have hidden limits. This is where they differ from services like Spotify and Netflix. With Scribd, for example, the available library is reduced when you hit opaque limits.

Support: Make sure the devices you like to read on are supported. Most ebook subscription services offer apps for Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac, at a minimum. Languages, accessibility, and extra features like search vary, so do your research to make sure the app supports your needs. Sadly, many ebook readers, like Kindles, are not compatible with ebook subscription services other than their manufacturer’s offering.

Audiobooks: Unlike ebook subscription services, some audiobook services offer a monthly credit system that allows you to buy audiobooks you can keep, even if you stop subscribing. Others offer apparently unlimited access to a streaming library, but there are often hidden limits that narrow your choice for that month after you’ve listened to an audiobook or two. Consider also the maximum bitrate for audio streams, as this differs from service to service and can impact the quality of your audiobook.

2022 Apple iPad Air devices

iPad Air

Photograph: Apple

This is the lowest price we’ve seen on Apple’s 10th-gen iPad (7/10, WIRED Review). Apple revamped the design for this release—there’s no more Home button, and the bezels around the screen are slim. The rear camera has been upgraded, while the selfie camera has been moved to the center of the iPad for video calls, and it’s powered by a more powerful chip.

We love the sixth-gen iPad Air (8/10, WIRED Recommends) for an upgrade splurge. It’s more expensive, but again, this is the lowest price we’ve tracked. It has a better processor, making it a good bit snappier, along with a higher-resolution selfie camera and support for Center Stage for video calls. It also has a larger screen while being lighter to carry around than the entry level model.

If portability is your priority, look no further than the iPad Mini (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It has a design similar to the iPad Pro, but with an 8.3-inch screen. While it doesn’t have as powerful a processor as the iPad Air, it can still handle pretty much any app or game. This isn’t an unusual price for it to drop to, but it’s the price we recommend trying to snag it for. Just know that Apple is expected to debut a new iPad Mini next year.

Apple Watch Series 8

Photograph: Apple

The current Apple Watch is the Series 9, but last year’s Series 8 is virtually the same and $100 cheaper, which is why we say it’s a great buy at $300. You get all the features you need in Watch OS 10, which has Crash Detection to alert emergency responders if you’re in an accident and unresponsive, along with the usual health and fitness tracking features.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is only a month old but it’s already on sale. It’s our favorite smartwatch for outdoor sports. It packs a new (and bright) 3,000-nit display, the latest S9 chip for faster processing, and the new ultra-wideband chip for precision-locating your phone. It’s a great option if you’re heavily into outdoor sports and are looking for a rugged, full-functioning smartwatch to take along with you. It’s also the Apple Watch with the best battery life thanks to its massive size.

Amazon Device Deals

Not sure which Amazon device to grab? Read our guides to the best Fire tablets and best Alexa smart speakers.

2023 Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet

Photograph: Best Buy

The Fire HD 10 is still our very favorite Fire tablet. This version got a minor speed update a couple of months ago, making it marginally snappier than the previous version. We like the Fire HD 10 for its larger screen—there’s more room to consume that fire hose of Amazon content you’ve been seeking (this Garry Winogrand documentary is very good if you’re looking for something). If you want to try to work on your Fire, grab the new Keyboard Case bundle ($60 off). As always we suggest spending the extra few bucks to get a tablet without advertisements on the lockscreen.

The best value in Amazon Fire tablets, the Fire HD 8 is an even better value at this price. (just $5 off the lowest price we’ve seen). The screen isn’t as roomy as on the 10, but this one is smaller, making it nice for traveling or reading a book. Having tested and reviewed both, I think people are probably better off forking over the extra $20 to get the discounted Fire HD 10, but if you want the smaller form factor the Fire HD 8 will work.

Thinking of getting a tablet for your kids? Amazon’s have pretty good parental controls. If you’ve got older kids (about 8 and up), the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro Edition has a slimmer case and more app options which is good for older children. It still has plenty of parental controls in the settings, and the recent update gave it a speedier processor to better handle HD video and games. The discount is not as good as the Fire HD 8 kids below, but this is the better choice for older kids.

Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro

Photograph: Amazon

This is the best Amazon Fire tablet for younger kids. It’s the same tablet as the “normal” Fire HD 8 which our reviewer lauded for its better battery life and faster processor than its predecessor (6/10, WIRED Review). The only difference is that the Kids Edition comes with a rugged case and a two-year worry-free guarantee. If your kid chucks it down the stairs into a mop bucket, or flings their tablet out the window because Bluey stopped playing, Amazon will replace the tablet for free.

Amazon offers its biggest discounts on its own hardware on Prime Day, but can’t ignore the Cyber Monday bonanza. The Amazon Kindle Scribe (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is normally a bit expensive for our tastes, but this sale knocks it firmly within a reasonable buy price for us. It comes with a stylus that lets you write notes and mark up PDFs, and it has excellent battery life.

This deal is only available for new subscribers. Kindle Unlimited is an excellent subscription service for people who own Kindles or read books on the Kindle app. There are thousands of books available to borrow for free. I, Louryn, would rather get rid of all my streaming services than to go without Kindle Unlimited. Just be aware that you should set a reminder to cancel, lest the service auto-renews at $11 per month after the trial ends. And note that if you’re buying a Kindle today, you can choose to get three months for free when adding the product to your cart.

Amazon has a ton of gift cards that come with free credits right now. Each one has a unique corresponding coupon code that you can see on this page. For example, you can get a $100 Apple Gift Card and a free $15 Amazon credit with code APPLET5USAP. There are tons of cards to choose from. You can browse them all here.

Office Chair and Desk Deals

Just like upgrading the bed you sleep on, few things will improve your life like a good chair. Some of our favorites are on sale right now. See our Best Office Chairs guide and our Work-From-Home Gear guide for more picks.

Branch ergonomic office chair

Photograph: Branch

This is our favorite office chair. It’s easy to assemble and there are tons of little tweaks you can make to dial it the fit. You can push the armrest back and forward, up and down; the seat can extend out or be pushed all the way in; you can lock the recline. There’s even adjustable lumbar support. Fair warning though: Pet hair tends to cling to the upholstery, and I’ve noticed the fabric on the front end of the seat tends to pill quite quickly, but this is a great deal on an excellent chair.

Take everything about the Branch Ergonomic Chair and upgrade it a notch—that’s the Branch Verve. It looks more elegant (especially in the lovely Coral color), it keeps my back straighter, it’s quite comfy, and it can make nearly the same adjustments with a higher level of polish. Branch’s Ergonomic Chair is excellent for most people, but the Verve is the more refined seat if your budget can stretch.

If you need a wide seat and your room tends to run hot, then get this X-Chair. The all-mesh design allows for excellent airflow, whisking your body heat away so that you don’t end up sweaty. It’s comfy, like sitting on a hammock, and well-built.

Three Herman Miller Zeph office chairs in different colors

Photograph: Herman Miller

The Zeph looks like it’s a choice for aesthetics rather than comfort. Especially since it’s made of plastic, and the only adjustment you can make is moving it up or down. But WIRED editor Julian Chokkattu found it quite comfortable. After a month of sitting in it, he says, it was still supportive for his 6’4″ frame, and it can even double as a fine-enough recliner. He recommends adding on the seat pad and arms, which will run the sale price up to $516 ($129 off, so still a good deal).

If you’re looking for luxury in your office chair, this is the one to buy. WIRED editor Julian Chokkattu says it can take a few weeks to get used to it, but it’s worthwhile. The upright positioning supports your back, and the initially rigid seat will become more comfortable over time. It’s one of the most adjustable chairs around, allowing you to pull out the seat, change the height and angle of the armrests, and change the Backfit adjustment to fit your spine perfectly. Note: You’ll need to choose a graphite frame and medley upholstery to see the lowest price.

This deal features a pretty good standing desk we’ve been testing. It comes in two size options, and it’s fairly simple to operate. It’s stable, looks great, and is quiet. You can attach various accessories easily, like a cable organizer and a drawer.

This is the luxe standing desk in our Best Work From Home Gear guide. It’s very roomy, has height presets, and it’s really stable. It’s pricey, but dual motors shift the desk up and down quickly, quietly, and with zero wobbles. It has a range of 25 to 52 inches tall, and there’s a hole to route your cables.

Motorola Edge 2023 smartphone

Photograph: Motorola

This is the best Motorola phone you can get right now. Its 6.7-inch OLED display curves around the sides, yet it comfortably ignores your fingers wrapped around it so you don’t accidentally press buttons. It comes with 512 GB of storage, dual SIM support, and up to a 165-Hz refresh rate, which is frankly overkill for most needs but absolutely buttery smooth. The camera didn’t do great in our testing—if a great camera is a top priority for you, don’t get a Motorola.

The Pixel Fold is our favorite book-like folding phone (8/10, WIRED Recommends). The front screen is nice and wide, so you can use it comfortably with all your favorite apps. Open it up and you get a much larger 7.6-inch screen for multitasking. Google’s software smarts are here, along with its excellent cameras, making this one of the best, albeit expensive, folding phones right now.

The Google Pixel 7A (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has a lot of pros. It’s got great performance, an excellent camera, and an OLED display. The build quality is fantastic too, and it comes in fun colors. It’s not perfect—the battery life is middling—but this is still our favorite smartphone for most people. Read our Best Pixel Phone guide for more details.

The Google Pixel 8 (7/10, WIRED Review) is the brand’s newest flagship phone. It’s good! It performs well, the camera is fantastic, and the performance is snappy. Our only gripe is with the battery life, which left much to be desired in our testing. The Pixel 8 Pro is also on sale for $799 ($200 off). Read more about the two phones, plus the rest of the lineup, in our Google Pixel Phone Buying Guide.

Motorola Razr

Photograph: Motorola

The Moto Razr+ is playing on your nostalgia for flip phones, and it’s kinda working. It’s a foldable phone that flips vertically to open, and it has an external display for some useful information even when it’s closed. We’d like to have seen better battery life on it, and it doesn’t have the best camera in the world, but at this discount it’s definitely worth a look.

The original Motorola Razr is one of the cheapest folding phones you can get right now, and it’s kind of surprising that it’s dropped this low. It doesn’t have the larger front screen that its successor has, but it’s still got a gorgeous 6.9-inch OLED screen when open, 128 GB of storage, and a beefy 4,200-mAh battery.

The ThinkPhone is our runner-up pick for Motorola’s phones, but it’s actually a joint deal with Lenovo. It’s similar to the Edge+ but adds that traditional ThinkPad flair with a customizable red side button. It’s designed for business use, but it’s a solid option for everyone, especially at this price.

The coolest part of this phone is the back. Sure, the front has a 120-Hz AMOLED screen, and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, but the back is quite literally where the Nothing Phone (2) (7/10, WIRED Recommends) shines. The LED “Glyph” lights can flash when you get notifications or calls, and you can set it up to alert you about app notifications you choose, too. Those lights can also be used as countdown timers or even to show the status of your Uber driver. It only works for T-Mobile and AT&T users.

Front and rear view of the OnePlus Pad

Photograph: OnePlus

If you’re eyeing a tablet that can replace your laptop every now and then—one that still works great as an entertainment slate, and is not an iPad—take a look at the OnePlus Pad (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It’s the first-ever tablet from the phone maker, and it runs Android 13 out of the box, so there are a lot of improvements in making the Android experience on a tablet really great.

The Google Pixel Tablet (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is great for an Android tablet, but it’s the included charging dock—which doubles as a speaker—that makes it stand out. This combo device lets you pick up the slate to use it like a normal tablet, and set it down to use as a smart speaker when you don’t need it. You can even set up to eight user profiles, so anyone in the family can use it with their own apps and home screen.

This is our favorite digital notebook. It writes very much like pen and paper, so it’s excellent for taking notes, with plenty of organizational software features. This bundle includes the new Type Folio keyboard, which attaches a tiny keyboard so you can type without any distractions.

Portable Charger and Power Station Deals

Have a look at our guide to the best portable power stations and the best portable chargers for more options.

Goal Zero Sherpa 100 portable charger

Photograph: Goal Zero

This is a good deal on our favorite charger for laptops. It has two USB-C ports (60-watt and 100-watt), two USB-A ports, and, remarkably for the size of this thing, it also has a 100-watt AC port for those devices that need a pronged plug. In our tests it managed to fully recharged the average 13-inch laptop twice. It is in fact charging my laptop as I write this update.

This battery pack is both portable and powerful. It has a 26,800-mAh capacity (the maximum you can take on a flight), and four USB-C ports—two of which can dish out 100 watts and two that output 20 watts each. We’ve used it to fast-charge MacBooks, iPhones, and other smartphones. There small built-in OLED display that shows the remaining power as a percentage and in-watt hours.

A 25,000-mAh battery pack that’s surprisingly compact is a rarity, but UGreen pulls it off. At 1.1 pounds, it’s definitely not ultralight, but the highlight here is that you can actually draw 145 watts while charging. That means one USB-C port can dish out 100 watts, enough to fast charge a laptop. There are three ports in all, two USB-C ports, one USB-A.

We like Anker’s chargers and its Prime range employs GaN technology to shrink the size down. This 67-watt charger has fold-out prongs and offers two USB-C ports and one USB-A. It can charge a MacBook and it supports fast charging for iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S phones, and Pixel phones.

Anker Nano Power Bank

Photograph: Anker

This solid option from Anker made the honorable mentions in our Best Portable Chargers. It has a 10,000-mAh capacity, good for just shy of two full charges for most phones, a built-in USB-C cable that doubles as a loop for easy carrying, and an additional USB-C and USB-A port. It maxes out at 30 watts each way and can be fully charged in around two hours.

This handy charger has enough power to juice up two MacBook Pro models simultaneously. But it’s also great if you have a lot of devices around your desk that constantly need to be charged. It has a little stand to prop it up, a short cord that goes out to an outlet, and four USB-C ports that output 100 watts each. This is the lowest price we’ve tracked.

Our medium-capacity pick of the best portable power stations, the Biolite BaseCharge 1500 has recessed handles for easy carrying, a good mix of ports to charge a lot of small gadgets like phones, tablets, and laptops, and a wireless charging pad on top. The 1,521-watt-hour capacity is enough to keep you powered on a weekend camping trip. Sadly, it takes a long time to charge.

Jackery Explorer 300 Plus

Jackery Explorer 300 Plus

Photograph: Jackery

If you want extra power for a camping or road trip but need something truly portable, the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus is worth a look and appears in our Best Portable Chargers guide. Cute and compact, this battery has a fold-out handle, packs a 288-Wh capacity, and weighs 8.3 pounds. It comes with a fold-out solar panel that can generate 40 watts. The fan can get a little noisy and it takes several hours to charge from solar. We have seen it discounted before, but never lower than this.

Taking the best overall slot in our Best Portable Power Stations guide, the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus (8/10, WIRED Recommends) brings you power wherever and whenever you need it. The LiFePO4 battery should be good for 10 years, the fan is relatively quiet, and it has a good mix of ports and outlets. You can also stack batteries if you need more power and charge via solar panels (sold separately). Some of the covers are tight and it’s heavy to lug around, but overall it’s a great power station. This is the lowest price we’ve seen on this one.

We tested and liked the Yeti 1500X for our portable charger guide and this is roughly the same thing, just smaller capacity (think weekend gear, not backup when the grid is down). It will struggle with higher loads like power tools, but for device charging and small appliances you’ll be fine. There’s AC, 12V, and 60W USB-C outputs and it has a built-in solar charge controller if you have solar panels (it can charge off the wall or the car if you don’t).

EcoFlow River 2

Photograph: EcoFlow

Sporting a large handle and weighing in at 17 pounds, this is the most portable pick in our Best Portable Power Stations guide. It offers 768 watt-hours, and has a wide range of ports and outlets to charge small gadgets. It takes over an hour to charge from the mains and has a standard XT60 connector for solar panels, but the fan can get noisy. While it has been discounted before, this is the lowest price we have ever seen. Ecoflow is also offering discounts on many other models if you need more power.

Laptop and Headphone Deals

If you’re in the market for a new laptop, be sure to read our guides to The Best Laptops, Best Cheap Laptops, Best Linux Laptop, and Best Gaming Laptops for more options.

Apple MacBook Pro with Apple's M3 chip displaying a photo editing application

Photograph: Apple

Apple’s brand-new M3 chips are available in three different MacBook tiers—the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max (9/10, WIRED Recommends). They’re all included in our guide to the Best Laptops. The M3 Pro falls in the middle as far as processing power and speed goes, but it’s still blazing fast. We recommend that you opt for the Pro if you’re a serious productivity user or content creator. This deal matches the best price we’ve seen so far.

Apple’s brand-new M3 chips are available in three different MacBook tiers—the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max (9/10, WIRED Recommends). They’re all included in our guide to the Best Laptops. This model is similar to the other M3 Pro MacBook Pro that’s on sale, except it has a smaller screen.

This little 2-in-1 laptop has been one of our best budget picks in our Best Laptops Guide forever. It’s not spec’d out for video editing or gaming, but it’s plenty fast enough for office and web-based work. There are plenty of ports for peripherals, and the 2-in-1 design is nice for watching movies on the go.

Image may contain Electronics Pc Computer and Laptop

Photograph: Acer

Our favorite 15-inch laptop, the Acer Aspire 3, here comes with an Intel Core i5 chip, integrated graphics, 8 GB of RAM, and a 15.6-inch IPS display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). It’s big, and the display is not the sharpest, but it won’t strain your eyes. There are ports galore (Ethernet, USB, USB-C, HDMI, headphone jack), and it’s powerful enough for most everyday tasks.

This is the fastest Chromebook we’ve tested. It features a 3.75-GHz Intel Core i3-1315U CPU, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of flash storage. The Flex 5i has two USB-C ports (one is used for charging) plus one USB-A port. You also get a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capability, making this a good choice for those who don’t want to keep everything in the cloud. The 14-inch touchscreen uses a 2-in-1 design, making it ideal for media streaming. As on most Chromebooks, the screen isn’t the best, with mid-level brightness and a standard 1,920 x 1,080-pixel screen resolution.

HP Envy x360 laptop

Photograph: HP

We like the 15-inch HP Envy (8/10, WIRED Recommends) for its impressive performance, very nice screen, and decent keyboard, complete with a dedicated emoji button. Graphics are courtesy of the integrated AMD Radeon chipset, which underpins the 1920 x 1080-pixel, 16:9 aspect ratio display. It’s no gaming rig, but it works. Connectivity options include two USB-C ports with DisplayPort capabilities, two USB-A ports, and an HDMI 2.1 port, plus a full-size SD card reader.

This is the slightly larger, slightly heavier version of the Asus Zenbook 14 that we really like (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It has the same gorgeous 14-inch 2.8K OLED touch display that’s very impressive for a laptop this size. Unlike the mid-range model we tested, this features an Intel i7 (13700H) 16 gigabytes of RAM and a 512-gigabyte SSD. You’re getting the high end model for the price of the mid range. It’s plenty of speed for most computing tasks.

Das Keyboard MacTigr photographed from above against a turquoise background

Photograph: Das Keyboard

The Das Keyboard MacTigr (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is expensive, but it’s great for those in the Apple ecosystem with a dedicated Mac layout. It also has cherry MX Red switches (that don’t get too loud), a two-port USB-C hub, and a high-quality all-metal build.

As Sony’s priciest wireless headphones, the WH-1000XM5 had a lot to live up to following the remarkably popular WH-1000XM4. Luckily they deliver the goods with upgraded noise canceling, a posh new design, and a more refined sound signature that adds up to a great package – especially on sale.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset

Photograph: HyperX

HyperX made a pact with an eldritch god to get 300 hours of battery life out of a single pair of headphones. Right now, they’re down to $120, the lowest price we’ve ever seen them. That’s like … 40 cents per hour of battery life. If you started using this headset today, for 8 hours every day, you wouldn’t have to charge it until 2024. Use it for 4 hours a day, and you’d probably make it to Valentine’s Day. We gave this headset the coveted (and very rare!) 10/10, WIRED Recommends rating.

Every shower is made better with a little music (but not a dance party. Safety first people!) According to WIRED Reviews editor Julian Chokkattu, the best choice for shower tunes is the Ampere Shower Power Pro. The Bluetooth speaker easily attaches to your showerhead – confirmed after he installed it in three different showers – and uses power generated from the flowing water to make your jams, well, jam. We haven’t seen the price drop to under $100 since late last year.

The Apple AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommends) have stood the test of time and, correspondingly, held onto their relatively high price point. This discount isn’t much but it’s still the lowest price we’ve seen for these headphones. They have exceptional build quality, pair and work seamlessly with iOS devices, and last up to 20 hours on a single charge.

Google’s Pixel Buds A-Series (8/10, WIRED Recommends) are our favorite earbuds for the money thanks to a neat package that fits well, sounds good, and costs less than plenty of competitors. They don’t have noise canceling which we’re starting to see pretty regularly in this price class, but this sale pushes them close to half the original cost for a killer bargain.

TCL Q6 television

Photograph: TCL

Our favorite TV for most people is a great TV for the price already, the TCL Q6 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) has quantum dot technology, support for every major high dynamic range (HDR) format, and a game mode. We don’t love that it comes with Google TV instead of Roku, but this is a great price for a great TV.

This is our favorite TV for gamers. The LG C3 delivers fantastic image quality, with vivid pictures that are loaded with detail, particularly with tone and texture, but never overblown. For gaming, the response times are nice and fast (9.2 milliseconds), and it supports every current-gen console feature across all four of its HDMI sockets. It has been slowly dropping in price over the last few months. It’s now at its lowest price ever, roughly $400 off where it was several months ago, and about $100 off what it was a few weeks ago.

The TCL Q6 (7/10, WIRED Review) is our top TV pick for most people even when it’s not on sale. It uses quantum dot tech and HDR to get gorgeous colors and excellent contrast. It uses Google TV instead of Roku, which may not be your preference. This is the best price we’ve seen it at in the last six months, but it’s gone nearly this low before.

Hisense U8K TV

Photograph: Hisense

The Hisense U8K (8/10, WIRED Recommends) uses a mini-LED display that delivers excellent black levels and vivid colors. Despite its confusing model number, it’s a 4K display, not 8K (which shouldn’t be surprising at this price point), but it has a 120-Hz screen refresh rate that’s excellent for gaming, plus decent built-in speakers. The feet are on the ends though, so you’ll want to mount it or pair it with a long TV stand.

Hisense’s U7K was already a great value at its regular sale price that has hovered around $600 or so, but this sale makes it particularly enticing. With an intuitive Google TV interface and sought-after performance features like class-leading peak brightness, quantum dots for enhanced color volume, great gaming features, it’s an all-around sweet deal.

Vizio M Series 5.1.2 soundbar and speakers

Photograph: Vizio

Vizio has long been a master at soundbar value, and the M-Series 5.1.2 soundbar (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the poster boy for all we love about the brand. Here you’ll find clear, full, and immersive sound in a no-nonsense multi-speaker system for hundreds less than we’d expect to pay even at full price, making this deal all the sweeter.

The Beam (Gen 2) packs a ton of upgrades from its predecessor including a slight redesign, enhanced sound with support for Dolby Atmos (with compatible TVs and streaming apps), a faster processor, and an HDMI eARC port for higher-definition audio. It packs support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and AirPlay 2 as well.

The Sonos Ray (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our favorite soundbars for smaller apartments or living rooms. It’s compact and fits neatly on a dresser or entertainment unit. You can even mount it on the wall to save more space. Despite its size, it easily fills the space with crisp, high-quality sound.

If you want to add some extra oomph to your existing soundbar, the Sonos Sub Mini (8/10, WIRED Review) is a great upgrade. It wirelessly integrates with your existing (Sonos, obviously) sound system and packs a punch that you’ll feel compared to your sound system without it.

new OLED nintendo switch

The 7-inch display on the OLED Switch is the headliner, but the new device also has double the storage of the previous model.Photograph: Nintendo

The Nintendo Switch OLED (8/10, WIRED Recommends) typically sells for $349, but this bundle includes a digital download of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as well as a three-month Nintendo Switch Online membership. Those extras usually cost $60 and $10, respectively, so it’s like you’re getting $70 worth of bonuses for free.

This is a price match of the discounts we’ve seen on other shopping holidays. It’s still a good deal on an excellent controller, and the price extends to several different color options. Our favorite part about the DualSense controller is the way the haptic feedback works. Rather than random rumbles, you’ll feel directional and immersive feedback—almost like surround sound, but in a controller. Read more about it in our Best PlayStation 5 Accessories guide.

Following the original Backbone One (8/10, WIRED Recommends) for Lightning port iPhones, there is now a version for Android phones (and the iPhone 15 range) with USB-C. This well-designed mobile controller clamps your phone in the middle and gives you all the buttons, triggers, and joysticks you need to get your game on. The app offers some handy extras, too.

8BitDo Ultimate Controller

Photograph: 8BitDo

This is a match of the best price we’ve ever seen for the 8bitDo Ultimate, which is featured in our guide to the Best Game Controllers. At first glance it looks like an Xbox controller, but it has five central buttons on the front and a pair of rear paddles. It boasts a host of customization options to suit your play style. You can remap buttons, adjust stick and trigger sensitivity, tweak macros and haptics, and more. It’s compatible with Windows, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch.

Deals on Streaming Services

Baffled by the ever-changing world of streaming services? See our guide to streaming services to figure which is best for you.

Hulu logo

Courtesy of Hulu

Hulu offers an enormous choice of new and classic TV shows and the ability to bundle in additional channels and services. It’s our top pick for cord cutters looking to replicate cable. Big shows from networks like ABC, Fox, and FX rub shoulders with Hulu Originals, so you’ll find shows like Lost, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Castle Rock. Check out the Best Shows and Best Movies on Hulu for more options.

The basic Peacock service includes shows like Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Battlestar Galactica, as well as movies like The Big Lebowski, all with commercials. Pay for Premium and you unlock more content, with episodes from NBC shows available the day after they air, original series, and new movies. Our main complaint is that Peacock is riding hard on its back catalog.

Formerly HBO Max, Max is what happened when Discovery decided to fold Discovery+ into the mix and rebrand the newly created service as Max. In theory, this means Max has an expanded library, with a healthy dose of reality TV shows like Fixer Upper and MythBusters alongside HBO hits old and new, from The Wire and Game of Thrones to Succession and The Last of Us. Max is one of our top picks in our guide to the best streaming services.

Fitness Tracker Deals

For Apple Watch deals, check the Apple Deals section of this guide or our full Apple Cyber Monday Deals guide.

Garmin Forerunner 265 smart watch

Photograph: Garmin

Garmin’s Forerunner line of GPS-enabled fitness trackers is bewilderingly complex, but this is our favorite (8/10, WIRED Recommends). You get great battery life in a lightweight, comfortable watch. There’s all the detailed fitness tracking you’d expect, especially for running, hiking, and cycling. It also has pretty good sleep tracking. The Music version is also on sale for $300 ($100 off). It allows you to store and listen to music via Bluetooth headphones. If you’re not sure which model to get, have a look at our guide to picking the right Garmin.

If you’re breaking off your toothbrush handle to reduce weight in your hyperlight pack, you need an inReach Mini. It’s tiny—a mere 3.5 ounces—and utilizes the super-fast Iridium satellite network, which will let you send an SOS from anywhere on the planet. It’s our favorite tiny satellite messenger for traveling off-grid. It’s been at a lower price since October.

The Oura Ring is one of the first, and arguably one of the best, models of fitness tracker that you don’t have to wear on your wrist. Every model has a discount, although not all of them are the same price off. You will still need a $6/month Oura membership to access many of the best features.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 in silver

Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic

Photograph: Samsung

The Galaxy Watch6 Classic has some features that are exclusive to Samsung phones—like the electrocardiogram—but technically any Android owner can use this smartwatch. It has better battery life than an Apple Watch, smooth performance, and a fun mechanical rotating bezel. If you don’t care for the mechanical bezel, you can save some dough and opt for the standard Galaxy Watch6 instead.

This is the best price we’ve seen for the Fitbit Charge 6 (7/10, WIRED Review), the latest addition to the Charge lineup. At this price, the Fitbit Charge 6 is a simple and focused fitness tracker with a pretty robust suite of health metrics. However, it struggles at times. The companion app leaves a bit to be desired, there’s no fall detection, and Bluetooth connectivity is glitchy. You should also be aware that to access every feature, you’ll need a Fitbit Premium subscription that costs $10 per month.

Withings just released the ScanWatch 2. This is the first generation of the company’s watch to be cleared by the FDA, and it’s now heavily discounted. This hybrid smartwatch (8/10, WIRED Recommends) looks exactly like an analog watch with a host of reliable health and fitness features.

JCPenney wrinkle guard sheets stacked on a bedroom table

JCPenny Wrinkle Guard Sateen Sheets

Photograph: JCPenney

These sateen sheets are soft and cool to the touch, drape beautifully, and won’t keep you too warm while you sleep. It’s hard to tell the difference between these and more expensive sateen sheets, making them a great value—and that’s before the current sale. Don’t forget to add the code CYBER23 at check out. (This price is for the queen version.)

Buffy’s Breeze Set is one of our favorite sets of sheets. We know what you’re thinking—eucalyptus sheets? Eucalyptus sheets usually take less water and less harsh materials to make, compared to cotton or bamboo sheets, making them a bit more eco-friendly. These Breeze sheets are lightweight and airy, but still keep you warm without making you sweaty.

This deal is part of a larger promotion offering 25 percent off site-wide. The robe is supremely comfy and comes in a wide array of colors and patterns. The towel-like material absorbs water after a shower, but the robe is also comfortable enough to wear for hours after your shower.

This is our top pick for the Best Robot Vacuum. Roborock’s entry-level vacuum is remarkably fast and thorough. It only rarely gets stuck and uses lidar, not cameras, to navigate through your home. It has multi-map capability for multi-story houses and also mop functionality.

Levoit Core 300S Air Purifier

Levoit Core 300S

Photograph: Levoit

This is our favorite smart air purifier. With the ability to cycle the air five times per hour in spaces up to 219 square feet, it’s great for living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. It packs a prefilter, an activated carbon filter, and an H13 True HEPA filter that captures 99.99 percent of bacteria and mold. On top are touch controls and an indicator light, but you can also use the VeSync companion app to check the air quality indoors and toy with the settings. It comes with support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa too.

This is a match of the lowest price we tend to see for this little green machine. It made our list of the Best Carpet Cleaners and the Best Viral TikTok Gadgets. It’s great for cleaning furniture, stairs, and vehicles.

Aura makes the best digital picture frames. Photos look great, without being too bright and obvious—you want a digital frame to look like decor, not a smart display. Aura has a few options, and they’re discounted regularly. If you like the mat look, get this one. WIRED tester Medea Giordano prefers the standard Carver which is also discounted to $139 ($10 off). Aura’s newest frame, the 15-inch Walden is $249 ($50 off).

Family using the Big Blanket Co. blanket

Photograph: Amazon

Big Blanket Co makes several oversized and cozy blankets. Reviewer Louryn Strampe is obsessed with the Original Stretch, and she’s currently testing the thicker Sherpa Stretch as well as the Hideout Hoodie. (Both of them are just as great). If you seek utmost coziness at all times, these products are worthwhile. Big Blanket Co products are 20 percent off on Amazon and the brand’s own website. If you’re spending more than $200, you’ll save more money shopping through Big Blanket Co directly.

We like basically everything we’ve tried from Verloop, and the whole site is 30 percent off with code HOLIDAY. Verloop’s mini tote is one of reviewer Medea Giordano’s favorites when she doesn’t need to carry much. This is a slightly bigger option from the brand, and it’s made from paper-thin nylon stuffed with scrap yarn. The result is a cool, colorful explosion reminiscent of the ’90s. There is a matching pouch too that you can use in whatever other bag you prefer. While it won’t fit your laptop, you could comfortably carry a tablet or a Kindle. The biggest issue is just how loud the nylon is when you touch it. It’s like walking with a chip bag.

The Nouvelle (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our new favorite bags and this price is cheaper than it was when the sale first started. It’s made from durable, recycled nylon and the strap converts from a cross-body to a shoulder bag. It works across styles too, looking casual with jeans and sleek with dressy outfits. Strangely, this price is only for certain colors; the others are $123 or $140.

Petivity Smart Litterbox

Photograph: Purina

The Petivity Monitor (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a cheap way to get valuable health information about your cats than using an expensive automatic litter box. It sits under a normal box and after a brief training period, tracks when each cat goes to the bathroom, what they do there, and how much they weigh. If your cat isn’t feeling well, you can bring that information right to the vet. The app can be glitchy sometimes and occasionally tells me that a cat entered the box but didn’t go, even though I watched them. However, the company is regularly adding new features and updating it as it gets more popular.

WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu loves this Instagram-famous backpack (8/10, WIRED Recommends) for toting around his 17-pound dog. It may take some coaxing to get your pup in, but once they are settled, they’re secured safely to your back. You can use your hands to carry groceries or ride the subway without issue. The Maxine One comes in two sizes, the smaller of which worked for Chokkattu’s Tobu.

Roverlund makes a few pet products we like, including this tote. It’s soft, but the base is stable and the thick straps are more secure on your shoulders than a lot of tote bags. The side pocket is tiny though, so it won’t fit more than a few dog poop bags. This price is for the small size, but the large is also on sale for $111 ($48 off). It’s a bit more expensive on Amazon, but make sure to click the on-page coupon button to see the discount at checkout. We love Roverlund’s Out-of-Office Carrier too, but it isn’t on sale as of this writing.

Nobody will mistake it for a live tree. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that could fool even the most hapless Christmas reveler. But as far as artificial trees go, this one doesn’t look cheap. Just artificial. The holidays are stressful enough without trying to wrestle tangles out of string lights. This tree comes with lights preinstalled and wired. All you’ve got to do is plug it in. And those arguments about whether the tree should be traditional white or multicolor? These LEDs can do either with the flick of a switch.

The easiest way not to kill your houseplants is for them to be made of Legos. Lego’s Botanical Collection is full of eye-catching Lego plants, and the Bird of Paradise is no exception. It’s hard to find in stock in most places (and be prepared to wait a while for it to ship!)

Weighing up price against features, this is the sweet spot in Withings’ smart scale line-up. We don’t think it’s worth stepping up to the Body Comp (5/10, WIRED Review), because this smart scale gives you most of the same data and syncs with the same Withings mobile app.

cricut device in blue and white

Cricut Joy

Photograph: Cricut

The Cricut Joy (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a great tool for crafters who want to cut and draw and start their own greeting card business from their living room (or, at least, send everyone they know homemade Christmas cards this year). This is a solid price and the cheapest we’ve seen all year on Amazon

This is our favorite cordless vacuum. Aside from reliable suction power, even on corrugated surfaces, it also stands on its own—a feature you’d think more cordless vacuums would have, but it’s surprisingly rare. The Extreme Max converts to a hand vac in a few moments and comes with three attachments. Read more about it in our dedicated buying guide.

KitchenAid Mixer

Photograph: Target

Mixers haven’t changed much since they were introduced over a century ago, which is always the mark of a great tool. They’re oversized motors really, but thanks to attachments they’re more versatile than many people realize. This 5.5-quart bowl model is great for whipping eggs, creaming butter, kneading dough, stuffing sausages, and, this time of year, cranking out large batches of cookies.

This was the only appliance on WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu’s wedding registry—he uses it to make stale bread fresh again, but you can also use it to reheat pretty much anything. The Balmuda Toaster (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a mini steam toaster, so you pour a tiny bit of water with the included (and equally cute) tiny cup into the top area. There are time recommendations for things like pizza, a croissant, or sandwich bread.

Stasher—a perennial favorite in our Best Reusable Products guide—is 40 percent off sitewide. Probably the best way to start off with these durable, versatile bags is with this starter set that covers every need you might possibly have, from stand-up bags to one for pocket snacks.

Breville Barista Touch Espresso Machine

Photograph: Amazon

The Barista Touch is designed for the home barista who wants to program in their own custom drinks and access them at the touch of a button. This machine allows you to just hit the Latte button and boom, you get a latte. It’ll even foam the milk—not as well as you can do it manually, but it’s good enough most of the time.

Trade makes our favorite coffee subscription. Rather than roasting its own beans, the company partners with roasters to bring you beans from boutique roasters around the U.S. With over 400 possibilities to choose from, the selection includes blends, single-origin options, and decaf. Right now gift subscriptions and gift boxes are on sale at up to 30 percent off. Prices start at $21.

This viral mug was featured in our gift guides for coffee lovers and moms—so if your momma loves coffee, it’s a doubly great gift. It’s usually pretty affordable, but this small discount is still nice, especially if you opt to get a four-pack and save over $30.

73oz HydroJug Pro

Photograph: HydroJug

The HydroJug Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is a truly gargantuan water bottle. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea—er, water—but if you struggle with staying hydrated or keeping your water bottle full, this absolute unit may be of some assistance. Clip the coupon on the product page to save. We’ve not seen the bottle sell for less.

Full disclosure: WIRED writer Joe Ray absolutely hated the original Our Place Always Pan (3/10, WIRED Review). But the company revamped it and released the Always Pan 2.0, which reviewer Louryn Strampe owns and wholeheartedly adores. She even reaches for it more frequently than the All-Clad roster in her kitchen. The new version of the pan has an improved nontoxic nonstick coating and outer surface, more sustainable construction, and it’s oven-safe. She likes the sloped edges and the pan’s overall design, which allows for many different cooking functions. There’s even a spoon holder built into the pan’s handle. This deal is $20 cheaper than others we’ve shared in the past.

WIRED editor Parker Hall has used this 8-inch Shun Cutlery Sora Chef’s Knife nearly every day for a decade. He says as much in the WIRED Buy It for Life Guide. It fluctuates in price a little here or there, but right now it’s down to $75 at Amazon. It hasn’t sold for less than this all year. If you’re still rocking the knife block set you got as a Christmas gift 15 years ago, perhaps it’s time for an upgrade. Just a thought!

Godiva chocolates advent calendar

Photograph: Godiva

Imagine if those chocolate-based Advent calendars from your childhood didn’t suck. This Godiva calendar has 25 pieces of decadent chocolate nestled behind its cardboard doors. It made our list of the Best Advent Calendars. If you choose to shop at Macy’s you may be able to opt for free in-store pickup.

Not every kitchen has enough counter space. The only real space that product reviewer Matt Jancer has for preparing food is this 42-inch-wide rolling island. There’s a bar for holding a pair of dish towels, hooks for hanging oven mitts, and swiveling wheels that roll easily, even when the cabinet is loaded with a couple hundred pounds of kitchen gear. The drawers and doors close nicely, and the solid wood frame and butcher block top feel beefier than the price suggests.

Ninja Speedi

Photograph: Ninja

This is an all-around great air fryer. It offers more than you’ll find in other air fryer models with 12-in-1 functionality, which includes cooking modes that range from searing and sautéing to baking and roasting. It can make one-pot meals, too, and comes with a recipe booklet to get you started. It was slightly less expensive earlier in the week, but this deal is still alright.

The Breville Joule Air Fryer Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has never dropped this low in price on Amazon before. It’s still expensive, but if app-connected cooking is your thing, this product might be up your alley. It can toast, bake, broil, and air fry, meaning it can earn the space it takes up on your counter—something many of my kitchen appliances have yet to do.

Electric Scooter and Ebike Deals

Check out our Best Outdoor Cyber Monday Deals post for more.

Apollo Phantom V3 electric scooter

Apollo Phantom V3

Photograph: Apollo

Enter code WIRED10 at checkout to see the discount. The Phantom V3 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is a beast of an electric scooter at 77 pounds, but it has excellent range. WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu traversed on it from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, to Fort Lee, New Jersey—a 22-mile trip—and had 43 percent left in the tank. Now that’s a commuter scooter. Apollo’s got some other deals going as well, like the updated version of the Air Electric Scooter for $854 ($145 off) . We weren’t crazy about the last one, but the 2023 model gets notable tweaks that make it worth checking out.

The Fluidfreeride Mosquito escooter (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our favorites because it’s easy to carry but still can hit speeds up to 24 miles per hour. It has a loud horn and front and rear lights, and it can quickly fold up for easy storage.

Our favorite micro ebike, the Jackrabbit (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is a great option for getting around short distances. It’s light, portable, and adorable. The biggest downside is its low range, but with this deal you can get an extra battery and go further for less. Just make sure to use the coupon code.

Specialized Turbo Tero 3.0

Photograph: Specialized

We tested the premium version of this bike (8/10, WIRED Recommends) and loved it. The best way to describe it is that it’s one of Specialized’s cushiony, comfy mountain bikes that has been given a motor and some adjustments to make it an all-around killer. This will be the most-used bike you own.

We’ve tried several Aventon models and appreciate the high level of quality for a relatively low price point (the accessories are better than Lectric’s, too). This fat-tire ebike (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is affordable, versatile, and has built-in commuter essentials. We also like the Soltera.2 and the Abound, which are also on sale.

This is the affordable, DTC version of the now defunct VanMoof (8/10, WIRED Recommends). You get a stylish, attractive bike for not a lot of money. All of Wing’s bikes are currently on sale.

Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser

Photograph: Ride1Up

Ride1Up positions the Cafe Cruiser as its light, affordable daily cruiser (7/10, WIRED Recommends) but with a 750W motor and a 65-pound frame, it’s pretty big and powerful for an entry-level bike. Still, at this price (and for these specs!) it’s a pretty amazing value.

Mountainsmith Tour 9L Lumbar Pack

Photograph: Mountainsmith

Our favorite lumbar pack, The Tour is loaded with pockets, which gives you far more stash spaces than would seem possible in a pack this size. We’ve had no trouble fitting a change of clothes and a couple of meals in here, in addition to the gear you’ll need for a full day on the trail or on a bike. The 13L version is also on sale for $75 ($25 off).

Martin Cizmar spent the summer playing pickleball to find the best paddle and this was it. The Omega Extreme X feels very precise and offers excellent ball control with a large sweet spot. You get lots of spin thanks to a durable textured carbon fiber surface. The edges are livelier than other paddles, meaning it’s more forgiving than many if you miss the sweet spot. Note that it has less pop than some others we tested, which is helpful if you’re willing to swing harder but want more control.

This is our favorite lightweight family backpacking tent. It isn’t quite as pricey as comparable options, and it’s not much heavier. I used this with my three kids, and it had plenty of interior space. That said, three adults will be more comfortable than four. The mesh at the top provides great ventilation on warm summer nights and the crossover pole helps it stand up well in the wind. The 1-person, 2-person, and 3-person sizes are also on sale.

GoRuck Bullet Ruck Laptop Backpack

Photograph: GoRuck

We love GoRuck’s over-the-top sturdy packs. Packs don’t come better made than this. The Bullet is the smallest of GoRuck’s bags and makes a good pack for around town (the laptop compartment is awesome) or short, lightweight hikes. GoRuck’s packs aren’t cheap, but this deal makes the price a little easier to bear.

Mystery Ranch specializes in hunting and military gear, so the company’s backpacks are some of the toughest and most well-thought-out that we’ve ever tested. The Catalyst 18 is the standard daypack, but hunting- and outdoor-related gear is 30 percent off with this code.

The WhisperLite Universal is a legend for good reason. It’ll burn just about anything (isobutane-propane, white gas, gasoline, kerosene), making it a great choice for traveling internationally or wherever you don’t know what kind of fuel will be available. Flame control is a little tricky, but I have managed to get it to simmer, as long as the wind isn’t too bad.

Once my favorite shoe (I’ve since moved to the even more minimalist Z-Trek Sandal), these remain a great choice for beginners and experienced barefooters alike. Think of these as the barefoot answer to Chacos. Except where Chacos are like putting tractors on your feet, the Z-Trails still flex and bend as you walk, giving your feet the freedom of movement you expect from a barefoot shoe. The kids’ Z-Trails are also a great deal at $30 ($30 off).

lifestraw device

Photograph: Amazon

If you hike, camp, or have a disaster kit at the ready, a LifeStraw is a good thing to include. It filters contaminated water without batteries or other accessories. Grab a BPA-free bottle to filter into and you’ll get out 99.99 percent of waterborne bacteria for up to 1,000 gallons of water. By then you’ll have either made it to the survivors’ camp in Vermont or the zombies will have won.

Everything that Yeti makes is insanely overpriced, and also the best thing we’ve ever touched. Reviews editor Adrienne So has owned this blanket for several years. It has a waterproof bottom, comes in its own carrying sack, is machine washable, and is weighted enough to not fly away at an outdoor concert. You can view Yeti tumblers on sale at their Amazon landing page.

We love pretty much everything Peak Design makes, which is amazing because almost everything is currently 10 to 15 percent off. Reviews editor Adrienne So particularly likes the Bike Mount, which locks your phone in place with the Everyday Case (which is also on sale, unless you want the iPhone 15 or Pixel 8 versions).

Rothy's Driving Loafer

Photograph: Rothy’s

The entire Rothy’s catalog is 30 percent off, and we like several of their shoes, all of which are made from recycled plastic bottles and are machine washable. WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu tried the Driving Loafer and the Monty which is also discounted to $130. He says both attractive and comfortable, wrapping around your feet gently without any break-in time. We also like the women’s flats for $90 ($39 off), available in nearly 30 colors (and some are discounted more than this). When Rothy’s shoes are worn out, you can recycle them back to the company and get a discount toward another pair.

This is currently our top umbrella recommendation. It automatically opens and closes with the push of a button, has sturdy fiberglass ribs and shaft, and a Teflon fabric that hasn’t shown much wear after years of use.

This is our upgrade pick in our guide to Best Umbrellas. This one is compact, has an auto-close and auto-open feature, and is overall exquisite. Davek also has a lifetime warranty for repairs, in case you accidentally damage yours. If you lose it, you can use the special code that comes in the box to redeem a replacement for up to 50 percent off the regular price.

lounge pants

Photograph: Girlfriend Collective

Girlfriend Collective clothing is made using recycled plastic bottles. We’ve now tried some of the brand’s leggings, bras, dresses, and puffers, and each one has been comfortable to lounge in but cute enough to feel stylish while you’re doing it. The dresses with shorts underneath, particularly, are some of WIRED staffer’s summertime wardrobe.

My colleagues have always loved Darn Tough’s merino wool socks, but I (Scott) never tried them until this year and … I am sold. They’re great socks. These are only 60 percent merino, but that’s pretty good for socks. We regularly see these drop this much at the end of the year when new styles and colors are on their way, but if you need to stock up on socks anyway, now’s a good time. The price dropped a bit more in our latest update. Darn Tough Socks also have a lifetime warranty.

This lightweight, efficient, compact stove is perfect for car camping and bike packing. We also like taking it to camping festivals. It’s easy to use, and the fuel is cheap. We have seen the price dip lower, but this is still a good deal.

Camera Deals

Have a look at our Cyber Monday Camera Deals guide for even more discounts on Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, lighting, microphones, and more camera gear.

nikon z611 camera

Photograph: Nikon

The Nikon Z6 II is our favorite camera for Nikon shooters. The 24-megapixel full-frame sensor has excellent dynamic range, and the phase-detect autofocus system is one of the best I’ve used. Video quality is also excellent, with 10-bit 4:2:2 N-Log output possible over HDMI. The Nikon Z6 II is also the most comfortable camera I’ve tested. But the real star of the show here is the Z-series lens system with its wider base mount, which allows more light to the corners of the sensors. The benefits of this can be seen in the incredibly fast 58-mm f/0.95 lens (manual focus) and the surprisingly small 50-mm f/1.2. If you’ve got a lot of legacy Nikon glass you want to keep using, there’s an F-to-Z mount adapter available for $250. Note that the B&HPhoto price includes a shoulder bag.

Fujifilm’s Link Wide is my favorite Instax printer if only for its size: those gloriously big Instax Wide prints just look better. They are pricier though at around $1.20 per print (print price varies by quantity). The Instax Wide has its own dedicated app that works well and has plenty of fun layouts and premade templates. The only thing I don’t like here is that it charges off a USB-A cable. This deal has been running since early October, so it’s not really a Cyber Monday sale, but it is the lowest price we’ve seen and a great deal. Note that this does not include film, you’ll want to grab a pack of Instax Wide Film ($14) as well.

WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu calls Wandrd’s Prvke the closest a camera bag has ever come to perfection. He likes the 31-liter version, which is what this deal is for. The padding is cushiony, and the exterior waterproof tarpaulin and Robic 1680-denier ballistic nylon materials have held up extremely well over time. It fits everything you need to shoot a video in the field, including a tripod (which secures in place with a buckle). Be sure to check off the “Photography Bundle” option before adding it to your cart.

GoPro Hero 12 action camera

Photograph: GoPro

This is a great deal on our favorite action camera for recording your outdoor adventures. The GoPro Hero 12 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) just launched in September and the previous model is still selling for $300, which makes this a pretty sweet deal. Not only do you get the latest version, you also get two batteries and a mini tripod. The Hero 12 isn’t a huge change from the Hero 11, but it does have better battery life, can shoot HDR video in 5.3K, and I still haven’t been able to overheat it in three months of trying. If none of that matters to you, you can grab the GoPro Hero 11 for $296 ($45 off).

If you’re primarily shooting still images on a mirrorless camera, this card is plenty fast enough for most people and saves you considerable money over the faster versions. This would not be a great pick for video, but for stills it gets the job done. This card is never full price, but this is the lowest price we’ve seen this year.

Person's hand holding printed photographs

Photograph: Mpix

Our favorite place to print photos is having a 30 percent off sale on all its print services. Mpix makes high-quality prints at a reasonable price. Mpix prints on Kodak Endura paper and offers a variety of paper options. I tested the E-surface, which renders rich, deep blacks and very true-to-life colors. It holds up well over time; the images we printed in 2013 look exactly like they did when we got them. We also like Mpix’s books and calendars.

If you need to print some gifts for your family, Shutterfly is having a site-wide 50 percent off sale. We’re fans of Shutterfly’s book printing service, which had the best results so far in our testing of photo printing services. We also like the calendars. The printing is good enough, especially for the price, and shipping is generally speedy. For Cyber Monday, Shutterfly has also added an additional 25 percent off if you use the code CYBER23.

The highest-quality prints in our testing came from Adorama’s Printique service. It would be the top pick in our Best Printing Services guide if it were a bit cheaper, which, with this deal, it is. You can choose from a range of papers, and they’re listed by their actual names like Kodak Endura or Fujifilm Matte. I also like the option to print the date and file name on the back of each image.

Milwaukee 7 tool combo kit

Milwaukee 18-Volt 7-Power Tool Combo

Photograph: Home Depot

There are plenty of fine tool brands out there, but Milwaukee power tools last longer and stand up to more abuse. If you haven’t joined the cordless power tool revolution and need, well, nearly everything, this combo can’t be beat. You get a power drill, circular saw, grinder, and more. The two rechargeable batteries fit all the tools and come with a charger, so you can have one charging while using the other.

This is one of the best gifts you can get for under $25. The discount is small, but the product hasn’t sold for less than this on Amazon all year. Slice’s box cutters are awesome, even if you don’t open boxes (and test their contents) for a living. The ceramic blades are durable and finger-safe, and the box cutter design is easy to use.

This is arguably the best value in a garage workbench out there right now. The solid-wood top is 1.25 inches thick (!), and the legs are adjustable in height. It’s capable of holding an astounding 3,000 pounds. One cool feature of the Husky workbench is that two of either the Husky 1-Door-2-Drawer Base Cabinet or the Husky 2-Door Base Cabinet will nest right underneath the workbench for extra, out-of-the-way storage, with the same impressive build quality and cohesive design.

Ironwood grill

Traeger Ironwood 650

Photograph: Traeger

The Wi-Fi-equipped Ironwood 650 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is the best pellet grill/smoker in our Best Grills guide. The app lets you dial in your cook settings while you lounge around (or prep the rest of the meal). The “650” refers to the square inches of grill space, which is enough to smoke three or four racks of ribs at a time, or six whole chickens.

This is the lowest price we’ve seen on Biolite’s FirePit+. We liked the original version; this newer model can be used as a heating source, a phone charger, and a snazzy portable grill. The whole thing folds down and packs up for easy storage in the included bag.

According to WIRED editor Parker Hall, Solo Stove’s Yukon firepit (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is nearly indestructible with its stainless steel design, yet it’s still lightweight and gets nice and hot without any lighter fluid or kindling required. (His tip: Get harder wood, like oak, so it’ll last longer within the firepit.)

Want to bring a little of the camping vibe to your backyard? Grab a firepit and start roasting smores on the patio. We’ve tested the larger Solo Stove Yukon, which we love, but most people looking for a fire pit in their backyard should go with smaller versions like the Bonfire. It’s smokeless—as you may remember from that gimmicky announcement Snoop Dogg pulled on behalf of the company.

Ooni makes pizza ovens in a variety of sizes and styles, but its Karu 16 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is the most versatile and easy-to-use oven we’ve tested. You can buy a separate gas attachment, but it’s designed to be used with charcoal or wood. Lighting the oven is fast and easy—simply drop a lit fire starter and a few oak sticks on the fuel tray and it’ll get hot within 10 minutes.

Product reviewer Matt Jancer tested this leaf blower this summer and was pleasantly surprised—it has all the power of your gas blower with hardly any of the noise. The 450-CFM airflow makes for 120-mph gusts to move leaves, lawn clippings, and whatever else you need to get out of the way. into order. This deal comes with two batteries and a charger, and since it uses the same M18 battery as the tools in the Milwaukee power tool combo above, you can swap these batteries freely among them.

Smart Home Cyber Monday Deals

Read our Best Smart Speakers and Best Smart Display guides for other recommendations.

google home hub

Google Nest HubPhotograph: Google

We’re not sure if smart displays will be around forever, but if you want one, Google makes some of the best. This 2nd-gen Nest Hub (7/10, WIRED Recommends) doesn’t have a camera, so you have some privacy peace of mind. It’s compact with a 7-inch screen, which makes it ideal for your bedside table. It has sleep-sensing tech to track your sleep quality.

The Amazon Echo Show 10 is the best Alexa Smart Display. It can connect with other Echo speakers, and the large 10-inch screen swivels around the base so you can keep a recipe or a Zoom video call within easy view. As is true for all Amazon devices, this gadget is best if you frequently use other Amazon products and services.

The slightly smaller Echo Show 8 is a great choice if there isn’t room for the Show 10. The 8-inch screen is perfectly sized, big enough to read recipes or maybe even have a movie playing as you cook, but it isn’t so big it’ll take up precious counter real estate.

Amazon Echo Show 5

Photograph: Amazon

The Echo Show 5 is typically overpriced at $90, but the deal price of $40 matches the best we have tracked. Just keep in mind that it goes on sale quite frequently. We prefer the Echo Show 10 for its larger size, but the smaller footprint of the Echo Show 5 is good for a nightstand or tiny kitchen.

The Google Nest Hub Max is our favorite smart display for a lot of reasons—the 10-inch touchscreen display, the solid speakers, and the unobtrusive display, to name a few. It also doubles beautifully as a digital photo frame if you’re a Google Photos user. This one has a camera, so you can use it with video-calling apps.

If you’re battling Wi-Fi dead zones in your house, a mesh router can help. Eero’s Pro 6E (7/10, WIRED Recommends) makes setup as simple and hands-off as possible, each unit should cover 2,000 square feet, and you can mix and match with other Eeros. The brand’s subscription is pricey at $10 a month, and includes nice extras like parental controls and network security, but you don’t have to subscribe for it to work. You can also pick up a 2-pack for $180 ($120 off) or a 3-pack for $400 ($150 off).

Nest Video Doorbell

Photograph: Google

This is a price match of the deals we saw on Prime Day. The Nest Video Doorbell is our favorite smart doorbell. Its reliable performance and solid video resolution place it far and above other similarly priced options.

The smartest indoor security camera you can get, Google’s Nest Cam (Wired) blends in easily and accurately detects people, animals, and vehicles. It boasts HDR and a high frame rate to make the most of the 1080p footage. Sadly, you only get three hours of history unless you subscribe to Nest Aware starting from a pricey $6 per month, though it does also include familiar face recognition.

We called the Blink Mini cheap, compact, and versatile with good video quality in our Best Indoor Security Cams guide. It has two-way audio, accurate motion detection, and integration with Alexa. Like other Blink products, the best features are locked behind a premium subscription that starts at $3 a month. But that’s still pretty cheap compared to other security camera systems.

Amazon Blink doorbell

Photograph: Amazon

Even after you factor in the $3 per month (or $30 per year) subscription, this video doorbell is one of the cheapest we feature in (the honorable mentions section of) our Best Video Doorbells guide. It’s reliable enough and gets 1080p video quality, but don’t expect superfast notifications or a wide field of view. If you don’t want a subscription, consider buying it bundled with the Sync Module 2 ($47), which is also half-price right now.

The Cync Indoor Camera (9/10, WIRED Recommends) was one of the first to offer a privacy shutter that covers the lens when you’re home or don’t want to record. It also captures 1080p video at 25 frames-per-second, offers two-way audio, and accepts a microSD card (sold separately) for local storage (you can also subscribe for cloud storage from $3 per month). It is top of our Best Indoor Security Cameras guide, and this is as low as we’ve seen it go.

Wonderfully colorful, bright, diffused light streams from these modular bars, and they are easy to fit. This kit includes six bars and a corner piece. The Govee app offers some great animated scenes, and you can even create your own. Sadly, they lack physical controls, and you need a bunch of them to create an interesting pattern. They appear in our Best Smart Lighting guide.

Mattress and Furniture Deals

Don’t know what mattress to get? We’ve got you covered with guides to the best mattresses, best organic mattresses, and best couches.

My Green Mattress on bed frame in a bedroom

My Green Mattress Kiwi Hybrid Mattress

Photograph: My Green Mattress

Use code HOLIDAYS at checkout to apply the discount. This $649 price is $70 less than when the sale first started. We’ve seen it get cheaper, but not this year, so this is a solid price. This hybrid mattress is made using certified organic cotton, wool, and latex. Its twin size is cheaper than most of our favorite picks, but it’s still comfortably firm, my kids loved it..

Organic Latex Mattress Topper

My Green Mattress Organic Latex Topper

Photograph: My Green Mattress

Use code HOLIDAYS to get the lowest price we’ve tracked on this mattress topper. If your mattress is still in good shape, you can get a refresh and potentially save yourself a few thousand bucks with a topper. My Green Mattress, the company that makes our favorite organic kids’ bed, also makes our favorite firm topper. It’s two inches of certified organic latex wrapped in an organic cotton cover, and despite being reasonably firm, it contours nicely, and you should be comfortable sleeping on your side. WIRED writer Scott Gilbertson said while sleeping on his stomach or back he didn’t touch his actual mattress at all, and just barely when he rolled to his side.

Our favorite customizable couch, the Lovesac couch—aka Sactional—is expensive, but expandable. Only have space for a two-seater now? Turn that into a three-seater when you have your first kid, or even a 10-seater when you move into a house with a basement. Add storage seats and power hubs and switch out the machine-washable covers when you redecorate. You can configure and reconfigure it in a number of ways, including by making the seats deeper. The price on this deal varies wildly depending on how many pieces you want, but the stealthtech is also included.

Sex Toy Deals

Be sure to check out our Best Sex Toys guide.

Lelo Sila Cruise

Photograph: Amazon

Lelo’s Sila is one of our favorite suction toys. According to writer Louryn Strampe, it has a broad mouth that offers diffuse stimulation, and the air pressure pulses simulate the sucking sensation of oral sex. It’s a great little toy, and this is the Cruise version. That means that it does everything the standard Sila does, but when you press it against your body harder, the suction intensity steadily ramps up. It’s an intuitive feature that can really intensify those final moments of orgasm.

The Kurve is a nice, smooth silicone vibrator. Our writer Jaina Grey was a big fan during testing, finding that the buttons were placed intuitively, and everything was easy to reach when it was in use (on yourself or a partner). The curve makes it easy to reach the internal structures of the clitoris (the G-spot).

Lovehoney’s Mini Wand is coated in a silky-soft silicone, and the form factor makes it super easy to use with just one hand—on yourself or a partner. It features the standard wand shape, so the head offers diffuse stimulation to a broad genital area, making it a real crowd pleaser. During testing, writer Jaina Grey found that the Mini Wand offered reasonable power and intensity for the size (and price).

Coffee and Espresso Machine Deals

Check out our Best Espresso Machines and Best Automated Espresso and Cappuccino Machines guides for other recommendations.

Delonghi Stilosa espresso machine

Photograph: Delonghi

A good budget espresso machine is a rare find, but this one is our favorite we’ve tested. You’ll get a solid portafilter, a reliable steam pump, and a steaming wand in a pretty compact body. WIRED reviewer Medea Giordano was gifted this after she got married and says it’s easy to use whether you want to brew espresso or just stream milk for coffee, and it takes up very little room on your counter.

Mr. Coffee One Touch Coffeehouse

Mr. Coffee One-Touch

Photograph: Mr. Coffee

This humble little espresso machine is fully capable of not only pulling great coffee but steaming your milk for you. It’s semi-automated, and to achieve that it has a milk container you fill up and keep in the fridge. During testing, WIRED reviewer Jeffrey Van Camp found that you need to keep the container pretty clean, giving it a deep clean at least once a week.

This is the less expensive version of the Mr. Coffee One-Touch. It’s made of lighter materials, so it’s a bit more plasticky, and you really have to hold it in place when you’re wrenching your portafilter into place. But other than that, it will still steam your milk for you (with a small container you keep in the fridge).

This coffee maker (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is more advanced than you’d think at first glance. It uses a pair of boilers and three different brewing speeds to make excellent coffee. It looks like the 8-cup brewer on steroids and has three different brew sizes: small brews (2 to 4 cups), medium brews (5 to 8 cups), and large brews (9 to 12 cups).

Low on caffeine—and counter space? The K-Express is a mere 6.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep, yet its 36-fluid-ounce, removable reservoir holds enough water to make a round of coffee for you and your friends without having to constantly refill it. Just do the planet a solid and make sure to use Keurig Reusable Pods to cut down on single-use plastic waste.

Aeropress dripping coffee into mug

Aeropress

Photograph: Aeropress

The justly popular Aeropress’s genius isn’t so much that makes great coffee (it does), but that it makes it difficult to make bad coffee. I’ve yet to have bad coffee from an Aeropress, which is something I can’t really say for any other coffee brewer. This is the lowest price we’ve seen in six months.

It’s not the best sale we’ve seen on the AeroPress Go (9/10, WIRED Recommends) in the last year, but it’s still a fine price if you’re looking for a gift idea for a coffee lover. It’s barely bigger than a coffee mug, but still works as well as the standard Aeropress (which is also on sale).

Look, Keurigs don’t make gourmet coffee. But if you aren’t picky or just want something for those mornings when you can’t be bothered to do more than insert a pod, this is a nice choice. It takes up very little room and comes in several nice colors.

Flair Pro 2 Espresso Maker

Photograph: JEFFREY MICHAEL WALCOTT/Flair

If you wish your morning espresso routine felt a little more beautiful, then the Flair Classic Espresso Maker belongs on your countertop. It’s our favorite hand-powered espresso machine, and the look is gorgeous and timeless. The stainless steel Signature Pro 2 is also on sale if you’re looking for a splurge.

This is the best price we’ve seen all year for this portable espresso maker, which is featured in our guides to gifts for coffee lovers and the Best Portable Espresso Makers. It’s lightweight, but reliable, and it produces delicious espresso.

The Cafe Affetto sold me on fully automated espresso machines. You fill it up with beans and water, and that’s it. It does all the rest. No tamping espresso, no grinding it, though you’ll still have to position your milk pitcher under the steam wand. Everything else is handled by the machine. Note that the crazy low price at Amazon is only on the white color, but if that works for you that is $10 less than the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

Milk Maker Deals

Almond Cow nut milk maker

Photograph: Almond Cow

Almond Cow’s Milk Maker is one of our favorite at-home-nut-milk-maker-machines. This little thing lets you turn almonds and water into almond milk right on your kitchen counter. Tester Richard Baguley found that it produced tasty almond milk with a nice creamy mouthfeel, and noted that the machine can make a concentrated version of the almond milk if you’d like more of a creamy addition to your coffee.

Miomat nut milk maker

Photograph: Miomat

MioMat’s Plant Milk Maker is a great pick for anyone who wants to make a variety of different non-dairy milks at home. You can make almond milk, soy milk, and even milks from cereal crops like quinoa and rye. On top of all that it can be used to make smoothies and soups, too. Tester Richard Baguley noted that it only takes about 15 minutes for the machine to make a batch of raw milk, and about 25 minutes for one of the hot milk options.

Grinder and Kettle Deals

Read our Best Grinders and Best Electric Kettles guides for more.

Fellow Opus coffee grinder

Fellow Opus

Photograph: Fellow

It’s lightweight for a burr grinder, and it’s small enough for a small side table. In my time with it, the Opus (9/10, WIRED Recommends) has ground hundreds of shots of espresso perfectly. The burrs need to be cleaned a bit more often than other burr grinders I’ve tested, but that’s quick and easy to do.

Fellow’s Ode Grinder feels like an absolute tank, and its flat burrs grind the most consistent pour-over coffee I’ve ever seen. Flat burr grinders are typically expensive, especially ones that can give you a grind fine enough for an espresso machine. This one doesn’t grind coffee for espresso, but it grinds explicitly for every other coffee brewing method. Drip, pour-over, cold brew, French press, you name it. You’ll get really rich flavors out of your beans that a conical burr grinder might not get you.

VSSL makes ultra-durable camping tools—waterproof canisters with flashlights, compasses, first aid kits, and more from a slender tube made of aircraft-grade aluminum. The Java grinder is an extension of that—a portable coffee grinder rugged enough to survive the zombie apocalypse or a bumpy ride to your favorite campsite. It’s incredibly well-made, yet (relatively) lightweight. The handle is clever. It folds out and provides a lot of leverage while you grind, and you can use it as a hook to hang the Java up when you’re done. The setup produces a nice even grind—enough coffee to brew a good strong two-cup mokapot.

fellow stagg EKG

Photograph: Fellow

Stagg’s EKG Pro is a sleek and gorgeous electric kettle. It features a gooseneck spout for precisely controlling your pour, making it the perfect choice for pour-over fans. There’s an OLED screen that shows the water temperature and a little dial to set the exact temperature you want. (It can keep it at that temperature for up to an hour.) You can schedule the kettle to reach a set temperature at a set time, adjust your altitude settings, and it even has a handy guide mode to help you figure out what temperature you should be using for different beverages.

This is the non-Pro model of the Stagg EKG Electric Kettle, but it’s still one of my favorites. It doesn’t have all the features you get on the Pro, but it’s a solid kettle with a long gooseneck that can deliver the precise control you need for a great pour-over.

This coffee grinder is the best one you’ll find with a built-in scale. Set your grind size, select the weight you want, hit Start, and walk away; it shuts itself off when it’s done. It’s easier than using a kitchen scale, and makes better use of limited counterspace.

If you prefer to hand-grind your coffee like WIRED senior reviewer Scott Gilbertson, then Hario’s Skerton Pro is the one to get. He says it’s fast and produces a consistent, fine grind (so not a great choice for French press users). There’s also a travel version that’s on sale for a couple bucks off.

Partners coffee bag

Partners Coffee Roasters

Photograph: Partners Coffee

Partners Coffee’s Brooklyn blend is one of my all-time favorites. I’m excited every time it shows up on my doorstep. It has a rich, full-bodied flavor that just feels round and smooth in the mouth. I don’t know how to describe what roundness tastes like, but trust me, this coffee tastes delightfully round. Circular even. This deal is good for anywhere from one bag to 4 pounds of coffee.

When you test coffee and coffee machines for a living, you really become a stickler for good decaf, and that’s exactly what Partners’ Ghost Town Decaf is. I truly couldn’t tell the difference between it and normal coffee. I still find myself going back to check the bag to make sure I’m grinding the right coffee. It’s rich and warm, with very light toasty notes that don’t overpower the hint of a floral finish.

bag of Atlas Coffee

Atlas Coffee

Photograph: Atlas Coffee

Atlas is one of our favorite coffee subscription services. It has a wide variety of excellent coffees that can fit just about anyone’s tastes. I honestly have yet to try a bag I haven’t liked. This deal is actually for a free bag of coffee. Just pay shipping. You can pair it up with a full subscription or an extra bag so you’re getting two for one, but what’s better than free?

Trade makes our favorite coffee subscription. Right now gift subscriptions and gift boxes are on sale at up to 30 percent off. Prices start at $21.

In our guide to the Best Coffee Subscriptions, we say Blue Bottle is the best pick for the fastest and freshest delivery. The Cyber Monday sale is vast, covering all sorts of blends and bundles. The discount will show up in your shopping cart.

Bean & Bean Coffee is making great coffee for a great cause. The brand is on a mission to improve the working conditions for women in the coffee industry. Use coupon code BLACKCOFFEE to save 20 percent on a coffee or tea subscription.

Fellow Atmos coffee bean storage container

Fellow Atmos

Photograph: Fellow

The Atmos Vacuum Canister is an airtight canister you can use to store coffee beans or other food items that would benefit from an anaerobic environment. You just fill it up, put the lid on, give it a bunch of twists until the little nub on the top clicks inside and you’re all good.

A new pick on some of our coffee guides, the Tally Pro is the MacBook Pro of kitchen scales. It’s solid, hefty, made of metal and glass, and every dial and button feels like it was deliberately tuned to provide an appreciably tactile experience. Like the Stagg EKG Pro, the Tally Pro has an OLED screen beside the control dial to help you navigate the scale’s different modes, measurement units, and helpful tools—like the brew assist mode to help you time your pour-over just right.

Coffee Mug and Pour-Over Deals

temperature controlled mug

Ember Mug

Photograph: Amazon

The Ember Mug is for anyone who has ever forgotten about a cup of coffee or tea until it’s almost terribly cold and promised themselves they wouldn’t forget next time … only to do exactly that. It’s a mug with a built-in heating element and a helpful app. Yes, this is a mug with an app. Does a mug need an app? Not really. But it’s pretty fun. The Ember Mug can keep your drink hot for about 70 to 80 minutes, depending on your heat setting. It can also rewarm a cold beverage.

The Carter Carry tumbler is adorable. It’s smooth, with a matte finish on the outside, and the lid has a sturdy metal bar that makes twisting it open a breeze. During testing, I found that other tumblers and water bottles with narrow lids and nowhere to grip require a lot more wrist strength to open up. This tumbler’s wide grip means you don’t have to twist as hard to get the leverage you need to open it up. Inside, it has a ceramic coating that keeps your beverage from getting a weird flavor, and it also includes a little splash guard.

The Stagg XF Pour-Over set includes a double-walled borosilicate glass carafe, metal dripper, and filters—everything you need to either start experimenting with pour-over or master your existing technique. At 700 milliliters it’s smaller than most Chemex pour-over carafes, but if you’re just brewing for one or two it’s a perfect size.

East Fork Coffee Mug

This viral mug was featured in our gift guides for coffee lovers and moms—so if your momma loves coffee, it’s a doubly great gift. It’s usually pretty affordable, but this small Cyber Monday discount is still nice, especially if you opt to get a 4-pack and save over $30.

Apple Laptop Deals

Read our Best MacBooks guide for more buying advice.

2023 15inch Apple MacBook Air

Apple MacBook Air 15-Inch with M2 processor

Photograph: Apple

Like its smaller cousin, this 15-inch MacBook Air comes with the second-generation M2 processor that improves on Apple’s initial custom-built silicon. It has a retina display, a MagSafe power connector, and 256 gigabytes of internal storage. It’s super light and easy to toss into a backpack or laptop bag. For the deal on Amazon, be sure to click the coupon to get the final $49.01 off (we’re not sure why, either).

This is the successor to the original M1 MacBook Air. It’s faster, and being newer, it will be supported for longer into the future. We’ve seen this laptop drop to this price before—and occasionally a little lower. But this is still a solid choice for a powerful, super portable machine.

The first Apple laptop to use the company’s own silicon might be a few years old, but it’s still plenty powerful and holds up really well. In fact, it’s the laptop I used to write this very article. This model often drops to this price, but it’s the lowest price we’ve tracked.

2023 Apple MacBook Pro M3

Apple MacBook Pro with M3 processor

Photograph: Apple

The latest MacBook Pro packs the blazingly fast M3 processor, making it capable of editing 4K video on the go without breaking a sweat. It gets up to 22 hours of battery life and has a vibrant 14-inch retina display. If that’s somehow not enough power for your needs, the M3 Pro version is also on sale for $1,799.

This version is similar to the other M3 model that’s on sale. It just has a larger screen, a more powerful CPU, and slightly better graphics. Apple’s brand-new M3 chips are available in three different MacBook tiers—the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max (9/10, WIRED Recommends). They’re all included in our guide to the Best Laptops.

The wide variety of M-series processors gives you a lot of options to get exactly the amount of power you need without spending a fortune. This 14-inch model of the MacBook Pro comes with the M2 Pro processor for a couple of hundred dollars less than the M3 Pro. Beyond that, they’re largely the same laptop, so if you don’t need maximum horsepower, you can save a bit of cash.

Windows Laptop Deals

HP Envy x360 laptop

HP Envy x360

Photograph: HP

The HP Envy x360 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our favorite 2-in-1 laptops. It has plenty of power for most everyday tasks, plenty of USB ports (both USB-C and USB-A), and a full-size HDMI-out port. Most notably, it also has a 360-degree hinge, allowing you to prop it up, kickstand-style, or fold it flat like a tablet.

It can be difficult to walk the line between cheap and good, but this laptop from Acer is one of the best we’ve tested. It packs an Intel Core i5 (or AMD 5000 series chip), 8 gigabytes of RAM, and a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. It’s not the most beautiful screen, and the speakers can be a little quiet, but it’s powerful enough for most people.

Lenovo Ideapad Flex laptop

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5

Photograph: Lenovo

This has been one of our favorite budget laptops for a while. It packs an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor, 16 gigabytes of RAM, and 512 gigabytes of internal storage. It’s solid for everyday use; just don’t expect to do heavy-duty video editing on it. It also comes with a built-in fingerprint reader, and its hinge allows it to fold completely around to carry around like a tablet. This deal got even cheaper with our latest update.

Chromebook Plus Deals

Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus

Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus

Photograph: Lenovo

This is the fastest Chromebook we’ve tested (8/10, WIRED Recommends).

The Acer 15-inch Chromebook Plus (8/10, WIRED Recommends) comes with a 12th-generation 3.85-GHz Intel Core i3-1215U processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage. One of the nice things about these new Plus models is that the groan-inducing slowness that once afflicted cheap Chromebooks is nowhere to be found. Even this base model is plenty fast, and battery life is a solid 8.5 hours of full-screen video playback time. This Acer offers two USB-C ports (with DisplayPort supported), one USB-A port, and an HDMI 1.4 output jack. The latter takes the place of the microSD card found in the Lenovo above, making this one a better choice if you frequently need to give presentations or otherwise use the HDMI port. It doesn’t have a touchscreen.

We haven’t tested Asus’ Chromebook Plus yet, but some of the best benchmarks we’ve ever recorded in a Chromebook came from models using AMD Ryzen 3 chips. Given that the Ryzen 3 is the centerpiece here, I have no problem recommending it. You also get the standard 8 GB of RAM and a 128-GB SSD. Like the Lenovo, this is a 2-in-1 flip (convertible) Chromebook, with a touchscreen. The screen is on the brighter side for a Chromebook at 300 nits (compared to 250 for most of the others). This is the lowest price we’ve tracked.

HP’s Chromebook Plus entry comes in several configurations. Whichever one you get, this is the priciest of the Chromebook Plus range we’ve seen so far, but this is now the lowest price we’ve tracked. We haven’t tested this one yet, but you get double the hard drive space at 256 GB, though the processor and RAM are the same as you find in the rest above. Like the Lenovo, HP offers two USB-C ports, one USB-A, and a microSD card slot. If you like HP’s design better, this might be one to consider.

Tablet Deals

Read our Best Tablets guide for more options.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9

Microsoft Surface Pro 9

Photograph: Microsoft

The Surface Pro 9 is our pick for the best 2-in-1 Surface. It uses a built-in kickstand and (optional) keyboard cover to bridge the gap between laptop and tablet. This version comes with a powerful Qualcomm SQ3 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, and 256 gigabytes of internal storage. Its battery can last up to 19 hours, though if you go for the optional 5G version, we found it got closer to 7.5 hours.

This version of the Surface Pro 9 uses an Intel Core i5 instead of the Qualcomm SQ3 processor, which is still solidly powerful for most everyday tasks. More importantly, this bundle comes with the Surface Pro Keyboard, turning it into an ideal tablet/laptop hybrid.

Google Pixel Tablet

Google Pixel Tablet with dock

Photograph: Google

While it’s not strictly speaking a laptop, the Google Pixel Tablet (7/10, WIRED Recommends) is a fantastic Android tablet that can attach to a charging dock, turning it into a smart display. The performance and screen are both great for the price, but the battery life doesn’t last quite as long as we’d like. It’s hit this low price twice now in November but hasn’t dropped this low before.

Charger and Accessory Deals

Our Best Portable Chargers guide has even more options for all your devices.

Anker 737 Power Bank

Anker 737 Power Bank

Photograph: Anker

This power bank is our top upgrade pick in our guide to the Best Portable Chargers. It’s pricey, but today’s deal makes it more accessible. It charges from zero to completely full in an hour and boasts a whopping 24,000-mAh capacity. And it’s powerful enough to charge laptops and tablets as well as phones and other gadgets. There’s even a built-in display to monitor stats like temperature and remaining battery percentage.

This is our portable charger pick for laptops. It has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and a 100-watt AC port so you can plug in a laptop charger. It fully recharged our Dell XPS 13 nearly twice in our tests.

A 25,000-mAh battery pack that’s surprisingly compact is a rarity, and this one also packs two USB-C ports, one USB-A, and the ability to draw 145 watts while charging. That means one USB-C port can dish out 100 watts, enough to fast charge a laptop.

Charging your laptop quickly takes more power than a phone, which is why we like Anker’s charging blocks. This 67-watt charger has fold-out prongs and two USB-C ports, plus one USB-A port that can supply enough power to charge most laptops, and quickly charge most phones.

Zendure super tank pro portable charger

Zendure SuperTank Pro Portable Power Bank

Photograph: Zendure

This battery pack is both portable and powerful. It has a 26,800-mAh capacity (the maximum you can take on a flight), and four USB-C ports—two of which can dish out 100 wats and two that output 20 watts each. We’ve used it to fast-charge MacBooks, iPhones, and other smartphones. There small built-in OLED display that shows the remaining power as a percentage and in-watt hours.

This charger packs two USB-C ports, one of which can output 65 watts when used alone. If you plug two devices in, the top will deliver 45 watts and the bottom can do 20 watts. It also folds up and looks super sleek.

Satechi 165W 4 Port Charger

Photograph: Satechi

This handy charger has enough power to juice up two MacBook Pro models simultaneously. But it’s also great if you have a lot of devices around your desk that constantly need to be charged. It has a little stand to prop it up, a short cord that goes out to an outlet, and four USB-C ports that output 100 watts each. This is the lowest price we’ve tracked.

We’ve used this hub with iPads, but it’s also great for MacBooks. Plug it in via the USB-C port on your laptop and you’ll have access to another USB-C port for passthrough charging, a USB-A port, an HDMI output, and a headphone jack. It’s also fairly compact and thin, so it won’t add too much bulk to your laptop. It dipped to $40 back in August, but we still think this is a good deal.

Laptop Stand Deals

Check out our Laptop Stand guide for more.

ObVus Solutions Tower Laptop Stand

ObVus Solutions Laptop Tower Stand

Photograph: ObVus Solutions

This is our favorite laptop stand. It’s sturdy, adjustable in height and angle, and it collapses for easy travel. Deals aren’t uncommon, so it’s best to buy it while discounted like this. ObVus has a new version of this stand out that we haven’t tried, but it’s $68 right now and seems to be the same design with the addition of a cell phone stand.

With the ability to flex the stand up to 22 inches high, you can adjust this stand depending on your setup—whether you’re using an external monitor or working solely off a MacBook. It’s also super compact and portable. Our only complaint is that, while you can adjust the stand’s angle up to 45 degrees, it’s too wobbly to type on if you’re using the laptop’s keyboard.

Birch Flex Stand for laptops

Lone Birch Flex Laptop Stand

Photograph: Lone Birch

Enter code SHOPSMALL to apply this discount. The wood is pretty, and looks great against a wood desk, and the arm can angle your screen a little bit. There’s a small and large size, the latter of which works best for 15-inch or larger laptops.

Moft stands are configurable, and this one angles your laptop from 25 to 60 degrees. You probably don’t want to stand all day at its highest, but for a little change up after lunch, it’s nice. It collapses flat too, so you can pack it in a bag. The brand’s Smart Desk Mat is discounted to $121 ($37 off) with code BF37. That one balances your laptop, phone, and wireless charging earbuds. It’s not as easy to tote around given its size, but it’s a great desk companion.

Keyboard and Case Deals

Keychron K3 keyboard

Photograph: Keychron

This is WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu’s current daily keyboard. You can use it wired or wirelessly via Bluetooth and it comes in several colors and switches to pick from (it’s also RGB-backlit). The red switches aren’t very loud but are still clicky, and there’s a great knob for volume control. It’s hot-swappable too, so you can change the switches whenever you’d like.

If you prefer low-profile keys, the K3 Pro is a solid choice. The keys have a tactile click, RGB lighting, and you’ll get around four to five days of battery life (with the ability to charge it via the USB-C charging port). You’ll also get support for Via too, if you want additional software customization.

Speck Smartshell Case on an Apple MacBook

Photograph: Speck

Speck’s Smartshell case has the proper cutouts for ports, rubberized feet to keep your machine in place, and both pieces lip in securely. You can throw it in your backpack, tote, or duffle bag without worrying about damaging the machine. We tested it with the 14-inch MacBook Pro but it’s available for a wide range of MacBook models, too. It’s worth noting, however, that the hardshell isn’t scratch-resistant (despite Speck’s claims)—we’ve noticed a few scrapes on ours here and there, but it’s not too noticeable.

This is currently our favorite MacBook case. We tested it with the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021), but it’s available for a few MacBook models. It has rubberized feet that prevent it from sliding, precise cutouts for all ports, and ventilation to keep the MacBook from overheating.

This discount is automatically added in your cart. The 16-inch version Baggu Laptop Sleeve in Sherbet Cherry looks just as cute in person as it does online. The puffiness provides plenty of protection, and the Velcro closure is strong enough you don’t have to worry the laptop will slide out. We tested it with the 15-inch MacBook Air, which left space to squeeze a keyboard and mouse into the sleeve as well. There’s also a 13-inch/14-inch version for those who have smaller MacBooks or want a sleeve for their iPads. Baggu’s whole lineup is 20 percent off, and we like several of the brand’s bags.

31 Home Depot Black Friday Deals (2023): Tools, Grills

Take a gander at these Home Depot Black Friday deals from the comfort of your living room without having to line up at the gates to do battle with the masses in the store. Make home a pleasant place to be, inside and outside, with these deals on equipment for your garage, backyard, and home, and you won’t want to leave.

Garage Deals

Husky workbench

Husky Workbench

Photograph: Home Depot

This is arguably the best value in a garage workbench out there right now, and it’s $45 less than when the sale first started.

Closed doors keep the dust off your equipment and the messy tangles of extension cords out of sight. This cabinet is made of 24-gauge steel and is powder-coated in your choice of red or black. There’s also a 30-inch and 48-inch-wide versions if you have less or more room to place a cabinet. Mount a Husky Wall Cabinet for $130 ($70 off), which offers the same look and build quality, over a workbench if you need shelving but don’t have the floor space for a freestanding cabinet.

You won’t overload this shelving unit. Each shelf is, when properly weight-distributed, capable of holding up to 2,500 pounds. That’s per shelf. Forget the “boltless” version of this shelving unit that Husky also makes. Bolts are not that scary to fasten during assembly, and they’ll hold the shelving unit together more sturdily.

Milwaukee 7 tool combo kit

Milwaukee 18-Volt 7-Power Tool Combo

Photograph: Home Depot

Hand me a blank check and tell me to pick out the finest power tools at any hardware store, and I’ll beeline straight for either Milwaukee or DeWalt. There are plenty of fine brands out there, but these two seem to last just a bit longer without developing any annoying performance issues. You get your money’s worth with Milwaukee, that’s for sure. If you haven’t joined the cordless power tool revolution and need, well, nearly everything, this combo can’t be beat. You get a power drill, circular saw, grinder, and more. The two rechargeable batteries fit all the tools and come with a charger, so you can have one charging while using the other.

You should be airing up your tires every month, at the very least. For that, you’ll need an air compressor. While a tiny, portable unit can do the job (slowly), you can shave a lot of time off this crucial task with an air compressor that has a reserve tank of pressurized air all ready to go.

Everyone should have a vacuum capable of sucking up not just dry messes, but wet spills. Use it for keeping your garage routinely tidy and for cleaning out the interior of your car. Like most shop vacs, it comes with a wide assortment of attachable tools and nozzles to fit into every nook and cranny around shop furniture and inside of cars’ interiors. I’ve had good luck with the performance and long-term durability of several Ridgid wet/dry vacuums over the past decade, to the extent that nowadays they’re the only brand I shop for.

This is the six-in-one version of our favorite utility knife, the Milwaukee Fastback, which is featured here in our guide on How to Build a Home Tool Kit, along with a compact version. The larger tool features a wire stripper, screwdriver, and bit driver, which includes a reversible Phillips #2 and flathead ¼-inch bit.

Stanley FatMax tape measure

Stanley FatMax

Photograph: Home Depot

My favorite tape measure, the extra-thick FatMax resists folding in and collapsing when you’re extending the tape far out without any support. This two-pack is only a dollar more than a single FatMax, so buy a spare and keep the other in the garage, your R/V, or just give one to a buddy, because you’re just that nice.

There are high-quality floor jacks made in the US (unlike this one), but you’ll pay a pretty penny for them. If you’re tight on cash, save your money on the jack and spend it on good-quality jack stands instead. Always rest the car on good, solid jack stands before going underneath it. Don’t just leave it up on the jack and slide under—jacks have been known to give out, and if that’s all that’s holding up the car, you’ll go splat. Keep a backup under the car, too, whether that’s the jack just slightly lowered so that it’s not bearing much of the car’s weight or even a stack of tires under the frame.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Werner is the only brand that makes a solid ladder, but I have stood on more of them than any other brand in my 30 years of, to put it broadly, doing stuff up high in the air. From painting walls to putting up insulation, I’ve never had a Werner ladder fail on me, and that level of trust is worth gold when you’re talking about ladders. This 4-foot step ladder is a little guy, perfect for keeping in the home for jobs that require you to reach the ceiling, without the bulk of a standard 8-foot ladder. It holds up to 250 pounds, and remember to never stand on the top “step.” Ladders aren’t built for that.

Bessey makes my favorite serious-duty clamps. Although I typically reach for a light-duty set of plastic bar clamps for the easiest jobs, I break out the Bessey clamps for more serious jobs, whether it’s indoors, outdoors, or in the garage. The combo kit includes a pair of 6-inch clamps and a pair of 12-inch clamps. In my experience using a pair of larger Bessey clutch clamps to fix a wooden table, I had no issues at all with slippage. The wooden handles seemed solid, and the quality of the clamps themselves made a strong impression on me.

This deal is over at Home Depot, but as of this writing, it’s still $129 from Amazon.

Beloved jack-of-all-trades, this handheld power tool comes with cutting wheels, grinding attachments, wire wool abraders, engravers, and more. I’ve used mine to cut down bicycle axles, repair the legs on my couch, custom fit a kitchen shelf, fabricate new tail light brackets for my motorcycle, and a whole lot more. People even use them frequently for arts and crafts. As long as you’re not asking too much of it, like cutting lumber to build a deck, then it’s an indispensable tool to have around the home

Smart Home Deals

Fire Stick Lite

Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite

Photograph: Home Depot

For non-4K TVs, it doesn’t pay to spring for an expensive, 4K-capable streaming device. Save some coin and buy this 1080p-capable streaming system to gain access to Amazon Fire TV. It doesn’t support Dolby Atmos sound, but if your TV isn’t 4K then it’s likely to not support Dolby Atmos, anyway. Read our Best Streaming Devices guide for other options.

It took a rash of wildfires to convince us, but the air in our homes is not all that separate from the air outdoors. And that means all the accompanying pollution and particulate is floating around in your home, too. At the same time, humidity too low or too high can encourage cracked skin or mold, as well as make it feel colder or warmer in your home. Knock out two birds with one stone with the combination Dyson humidifier and air purifier. The Humidify + Cool (9/10, WIRED Recommends) has an accurate, built-in air quality monitor, and its automated cleaning system is both more thorough and far easier than cleaning out most humidifiers.

If your home is equipped with Google Assistant, then you may want to stick with the first-party solution and get this outdoor/indoor security camera from Google. It’s battery-operated, so no need to wrangle with wires. You can pop it off the magnetic mount to recharge it, and it tends to last a little more than a month. You get 1080p video, HDR support, and a 130-degree field of view. Read our Best Outdoor Security Cameras guide for more.

Nest Video Doorbell

Nest Video Doorbell

Photograph: Google

The Nest Video Doorbell is our favorite video doorbell. Its performance is reliable, with swift alerts and notifications, and there’s HDR support so that your clips aren’t blown out by bright lights. It works without a subscription but you’ll want to subscribe to Nest Aware to get the most out of it. The battery tends to last about a month before it needs recharging.

We called the Blink Mini cheap, compact, and versatile with good video quality in our Best Indoor Security Cams guide. You need to pay $3 a month for a subscription, and the motion detection can’t distinguish between humans and pets, but it does have two-way audio and integrates into the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen)

Photograph: Amazon

Most people may prefer the slightly smaller Echo Show 8, which sits between this and the Echo Show 5 below. But, this 10 has a cool base that the screen can swivel around so you can stay in the frame of a Zoom call or see your recipe from anywhere.

The Echo Show 5 is typically overpriced at $90, but the deal price of $40 matches the best we have tracked. Just keep in mind that it goes on sale quite frequently. If the 10 is too large, the 5 takes up very little real estate whether you want it in your kitchen or on your nightstand.

There are quite a few Nanoleaf smart light panels on sale, so if you don’t want the triangle shape, you can choose from Hexagons or Mini Triangles. This modular system lets you create a panel of lights in whatever design you’d like. Read our Best Nanoleaf Lights guide for more information.

Eero 6

Eero 6

Photograph: Amazon

This Eero mesh router 3-pack is for anyone who wants a no-frills system. It’s super easy to set up, and you can extend connectivity throughout the home with the two nodes. You can subscribe to an Eero Plus subscription to get features like parental controls and ad blocking, but it’s also not required. Read our Best Mesh Routers and Best Eero guides for more.

You know the drill. You need a battery—especially in the precious moments after unwrapping all the holiday gifts—and can’t find any. This 30-pack of AAA batteries means you won’t run out for quite a while. It’s the same price as a 16-pack, which isn’t on sale, so you may as well stock up. You can pick up a 36-pack of Energizer Max AAs or a 6-pack of Energizer 9Vs for the same price.

Kitchen Deals

Delonghi Stilosa espresso machine

Delonghi Stilosa Espresso Machine

Photograph: Delonghi

A good budget espresso machine is a rare find, but this one is our favorite. You’ll get a solid portafilter, a reliable steam pump, and a steaming wand in a pretty compact body. Unlike other cheap machines we tried, the Stilosa didn’t show signs of slowing down. It’s easy to use whether you want a full latte or just steamed milk for coffee, and it takes up very little precious counter space.

Not every kitchen has enough counter space. In my apartment, the only real space I have for preparing food is this 42-inch-wide rolling island.

Instant Pot

Instant Pot Duo

Photograph: Instant Pot

There are a dizzying amount of Instant Pot models available, and most are similar. This is a small version that’s best for cooking meals for one or two people. There are still seven functions, like for cooking rice or steaming vegetables.

Now, I’m not aiming to cook entire meals with a microwave, but I do need something reliable for heating up leftovers and not being a countertop hog. This 1,000-watt microwave is big enough for a dinner plate to fit inside and powerful enough to heat it up without taking forever. Mine has been in service for three years without any hint of an operating issue. Plus, it looks pretty sleek on the countertop and blends in well with a modern kitchen.

Let’s be real: This is a five-piece set. Nobody counts the lids as their own pieces! Still, this is a good deal for Pyrex, a (mostly) drop-proof tempered glass storage set that I’ve been using this year for leftovers. Each piece is thick and burly, cuts out single-use plastics for storing leftovers, and washes up easily in the dishwasher.

Backyard Deals

Milwaukee M18 Cordless Handheld Leaf Blower

Milwaukee 18V Cordless, Electric Leaf Blower

Photograph: Home Depot

Keep the peace between you and your neighbors by relegating the old, deafening gasoline-powered leaf blower to the history museums by switching to a quieter-if-not-silent electric blower. Its 450-CFM airflow is good enough for 120-mph gusts of wind to move those leaves into order. It comes with two batteries and a charger, and since it uses the same M18 battery as the tools in the Milwaukee power tool combo we linked above, you can swap these batteries freely among each other.

Give up the gas and switch over to electric power, and you’ll never have to feel bad about mowing the lawn too early on a Sunday morning. You’ve got to purchase the Ryobi 40V Battery and Charger for $249, since the mower doesn’t come with one. It runs for up to 48 minutes on a charge, which is OK for a small- to medium-sized lawn. If you have a bigger job, consider buying the Ryobi 40V Two Batteries and Charger for $449 so that you can use one while the other is charging. Since it only takes 60 minutes to charge a battery to full, you could mow for hours on end with only short pauses this way.

If you’ve got trees to trim, consider an electric chainsaw. They’ve gotten good enough these days that you won’t lack for power on most day-to-day jobs keeping backyards and driveways free of snaggle branches. You won’t have to run to the gas station for fresh fuel or risk gasoline going bad if it sits around for months (yes, gasoline expires and can foul up motors). This chainsaw doesn’t come with a battery, but it uses the same Ryobi 40V battery that other Ryobi 40V cordless tools use. If you’ve picked up a Ryobi 40V Battery and Charger for $249 to run the Ryobi electric mower above, then you shouldn’t need to buy another for the chainsaw.

We named the Wi-Fi-equipped Ironwood 650 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) the best pellet grill/smoker in our Best Grills guide, thanks to—and I never thought I’d say this about a grill—its excellent app and precision cooking control while you lounge elsewhere, either inside the house or on the patio furniture. Not to mention, there’s an included recipe book of some incredible dishes. The “650” in the name refers to the 650 square inches of grill space, which should be enough to smoke three or four racks of ribs at a time, or six whole chickens.

Feast your eyes on the Rolls-Royce of grills, the Timberline (7/10, WIRED Recommends), which we called the best luxury grill in our Best Grills guide. If none but the absolute best will satisfy your need to grill enough catfish, baby back ribs, and acorn squash to feed a small army, the Timberline is large enough to swallow up an entire bag of pellets and smoke 50 pounds of meat all at once, and you can monitor its temperature all day from a distance through its Wi-Fi connection. You get access to the same excellent Traeger app, but WIRED senior product reviewer Scott Gilbertson found this grill’s Wi-Fi connection to be spotty at times.

Updated November 24: We’ve added deals on an Instant Pot, a budget espresso machine, and two Amazon Echo Shows. We’ve also updated prices and links throughout.
